Auditions

The Tigressions hold auditions twice a year, in both the Fall and Spring semesters. We are a tight-knit, fun-loving group who share a love of music! By joining the TGs, you will become a part of something larger during your time at Princeton—we travel the world together, partake in decade-old traditions, and practice our shared love for music. No musical experience is required. We would love for you to join our group, so be on the lookout for audition material coming out soon!

Auditions are 15 minutes long and consist of a variety of vocal exercises such as pitch-matching, harmonizing activities, and a range check. Additionally, each performer will perform a brief solo performance at the end of their audition slot. Our Music Director will lead you through the entire audition, with the exception of the solo. The only required preparation material is a 60-90 second cut (about one verse and chorus) of a song you love to sing. There is no need to stress over your audition, it should be fun and easy!
